Make sure all other options are not selected.
On the Paste Special dialog, in the Selection area, select only the Formats option. Select the cells that are to receive this same formatting. The new format is now available in the Format list in the AutoFormat dialog.Ĭalc comes with a predefined set of formatting themes that you can apply to your spreadsheets. In the Name box of the Add AutoFormat dialog, type a meaningful name for the new format.
You can define a new AutoFormat that is available to all spreadsheets. If you do not see any change in color of the cell contents, choose View > Value Highlighting from the menu bar.
To select which properties (number format, font, alignment, borders, pattern, autofit width and height) to include in an AutoFormat, click More.
